Back To The Alternate Future!

Description

Another picture, but not much of a spooky one as this is set in the alternate universe that Reynard has stumbled somewhere in the spirit world.

Remember that 2015 picture based on a scene in a TV set in a dream sequence with a mix of the 1980s and the style of the retro-future. Another 1985 or 2085?

I thought of bringing it back with a bang, seeing more of the 2080s in the alternate realm. With houses floating above so that the urbanization will not erase the wilderness of forests and rivers.

While the fox was looking around, these kids spotted him. They have no idea whether he really IS a ghost or just some hologram like you'd expect in the future. Oh, and their names are Vera, Chuck, and Dave!

((Now where have we heard of those names before? Can you guess?))

And who knows. It might one day inspire me to go back and draw this to start this series .

Just like how I draw Reynard 3 or 4 pictures on May until I stopped. Months later, when I did a cameo of him in that DOGGONE Spooky Holiday, it inspired me to draw more of Reynard.

This might happen! We shall wait and see.

Reynard the Fox and the other characters existed before the Medieval Times, which makes them public domain. However, the rendering (style, depiction, etc) is what makes it a copyrighted element. Not to mention, a concept or idea like Reynard as a ghost and spooking up is part of the story element. Folks have the liberty to use these public domain characters.

Now that's some creativity man. There must always be a balance between pubic and private.
