40 Years Of The Pizza Family Fun

Description

On Tuesday, May 17th, 1977, In San Jose, California, the first chain link that starts the chain of American family entertainment centers and restaurants most of the world!

Chuck. E. Cheese was the one. It's impressive how this particular chain attracts a lot of kids and even kids at heart. It's a cool idea that the pizza place has arcade games, which was concepted by the Atarti co-founder, NOLAN BUSHNELL (who he manages to make PONG a mainstream with it in CEC). Nolan also had some experience with animatronics from Disney, which he used it for the animatronic charactesr of Chuck E. Cheese. Also, you have Gene Landrum, the businessman who manages to help produce more of the chain links.

Thanks to those guys, they have developed a childhood and a pizza and arcade paradise! The way how the inside of a its building is like Wonderland filled with pizza, arcade games, tokens, and all sorts. What a wonderful world.

I am still happy that I grew up with Chuck. E. and the fun times I have while my family was there, too!

And how the popular culture possesses this as part of it, too!

To acknowledge 40 years of the chain that sparked the concept of the pizza restaurant and family entertainment centers combined together, I thought of bringing up my characters who were inspired or under the influence of CEC. Those characters or mascots I've created back in September 2012 with Peter and Sally. ((I really need to come up a better name than PIzzacat. Sounds too much like Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy's by Scott Cawthon)).

So here is Peter and Sally showing up for the acknowledgement (while setting in a homage of CEC) of 40 years of pizza, arcades, and family fun!

Happy 40 Years of Pizza + Family Fun!

Details:

Something of having a cat as a main character for my own CEC-like concept, there is a connection. On the bright side on Chuck. E. Cheese, for an animal that is known from that animal stereotype like mice eating cheese, it's perfect to know why when it comes to a pizza mascot. Cheese on the pizza. Now let's look onto an animal like a cat. You remember that thing with cats consuming milk? What do you make out of milk? Better? Wrong! Cheese? Correct! Cheese comes from milk. So it would explain that Peter would use milk to make cheese for his pizza!

Plus, coincidentally, there WAS a cat mascot that sides with Chuck E. or formally the Pizza Time Theatre. It was Crusty the Cat in 1977 before being retired and replace by Mr. Munch in 1978. Now sounds fitting comparing Crusty and Peter?

What a lovely  tribute to Peter and Sally! :)
I felt like I seen the cats before in college, in one of the drawings you shown me...
